Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa has sent end of the year greetings to Nigerians as they celebrate with the rest of the world just as he paid a courtesy call to the Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong.
Ahmed Musa, who was seen sporting a red Christmas cap, said: “I wish all my fans and Nigerians Merry Christmas. May the season bring good things to us all.” The mother of the CSKA Moscow star is a Christian.
The Eagles captain paid a courtesy visit to Plateau State governor, Lalong to discuss football development in the state and Nigeria at large.
The Jos-born forward said that he deemed it fit to have such a meeting.
“I visited the Plateau State Governor and we discussed about the growth of football in the state. It was a good meeting and I am happy it took place,” he disclosed.
“I talked to him about the Zaria Road Stadium and the importance of completing it in time.
“We discussed Nigerian football as well.”
Musa, who is currently on holidays, started his career in Jos with Aminchi Academy, then he moved to JUTH FC before he moved to Kano Pillars and then to VVV Venlo (Holland) before he moved to CSKA Moscow in Russia.
